Yesterday my mum's boss gave her a box of toothpaste. She told me that this is a 100% vegetarian toothpaste that doesn't contain gelatin and is entirely free of animal products so it can be use by vegetarians and vegans. What is gelatin? Gelatine, is a substance derived from the processing of animal collagen. Commercially, this is most typically obtained from cattle hides and bones and pigskins. How to know that is a 100% vergetarian toothpaste just see the logo must show that it is "Always 100% Vegeatrian" with a green circle in the middle (p.s. this product is from India). You can find the toothpaste at Mustafa Centre. The name of the toothpaste is Meswak toothpaste.
